This review is of the 9VPH12 "mop bucket yellow" color scheme model that was introduced in 2008. This review is applicable to the Rubbermaid Commercial Executive Series 1868438 9VPH12 that is the 2013 model replacement for the 9VPH12 "mop bucket yellow" vacuum. The Executive Series features a user replaceable power cord and is featured in a gray/black/red color scheme. These are the two only differences. According to the Rubbermaid Commercial Products website the yellow/black/red version of the vacuum is being discontinued (it was introduced in 2008). I prefer the "mop bucket yellow" color scheme as it is something different and does scream "Look At Me! I'm a commercial vacuum cleaner", not a fragile disposable toy vacuum found at your local big box retailer. Great Vacuum I have bought expensive vacuums for the public and they all suck. This vacuum is actually cheaper than my last vacuum and it is hands down the best vacuum I have ever owned. Why do they promote it as a commercial vacuum when it is the best personal vacuum I have ever owned.

Works at least as well as the Dyson it replaced at half the price I have had it for a few months now and have found it to be solid, powerful, well made, and reliable so far.. its just what I wanted after my $400 Dyson died after a year of light use. Its not quite as maneuverable as the Dyson ball but better in every other way. Generally I prefer bagless vacuums but these bags are easy to change with the Rubbermaid.
