It seems to work - we have had no white dust problems with the filters so treated, and have so cleaned that one filter several dozen times now.

Price when arrived the filter was the correct one but had a $2.00 price sticker on it and the price I paid was $35.00. The filter was obviously old in that the box it came in was well worn. Filter seems to be working. Maybe the sticker should have been taken off? This must have been purchased in a garage sale even tho it had not been used.
