This dehumidifier really helped get the water/dampness out of the carpet. I think it's definitely worth the money, and didn't really increase our electric bill like we thought it might. It a good product. Pros It a good product. Pros: It seemed to work almost instantly semicolon. It's doing a good job removing the humidity from the air. I could feel a difference in the air in less than an hour It runs quietly It was super easy to set up Cons: It puts out a lot of heat It seems to be running continuously. I'm wondering how this is going to affect my electricity bill. It seems to require a lot of time to turn back on after the water bucket is removed, dumped then replaced. The instruction booklet did say it would take 2 minutes. Sometimes it seems longer, either way it is a little annoying. If I could I would give it 3.5 stars. I was torn between 3 and 4 stars because of some of the cons I listed. I gave it a four because it does the job.
