Reading through the reviews makes me see that some people are just way too picky. There is absolutely no problems with this coffee maker. Actually it produces the best cup of coffee you could ever imagine brewing at home. It does not take as long as some say. It takes about 7 mins to fully brew a full 8 cup pot. About the same as a regular auto drip maker. I use good quality fresh ground coffee beans and melitta brand #4 natural cone filters. I fill the coffee filter to the dots it tells me to and it produces some of the best tasting coffee I have made at home ever! Even better than some coffee shop coffees. This maker was well worth it. I have no regrets or gripes. I would buy it all over again and one everytime I would have to replace it.

I have not had any trouble pouring the water into the unit through the narrow inlet; you need to be attentive while pouring otherwise water will flow around the holding tank and the unit will appear to be leaking. I did find that the brew menu specifying the number of cups to fluctuate in actual number of cups brewed, but filling the heating tank with the number of cups I want brewed, as you do with all drip machines, and setting the menu to more cups than filled, gives the number of cups I want brewed.

Makes great coffee but filling it with water is a pain and the control buttons are way to close together making it to easy to push the wrong one, they could also be a little bigger. You also need to raise the lid on the pot when pouring coffee or filling the coffee maker otherwise the liquid spills every where. It looks good though and as already mentioned makes great coffee!
