I use my own spring and well water which has a high mineral content( especially lime and calcium)which is why I chose this Braun make and model to begin with. For the past 3 years I have been completely dissatisfied with the replacement filters because they DO NOT settle into the compartment as they are designed to do. Instead they "float" above the compartment, therefore negating the very purpose for which they were intended. I will buy no more and I will also buy a new coffe pot. I also think these filters are extremely over priced.
