Buyer beware...
When I took the filters out of the packaging I noticed that they came out wet, and kind of slimy. I contacted Crucial Coffee/Vacuum and they responded that they should not be like that and shipped out a replacement sent immediately. The replacement was exactly the same. At this point I cut the filters open and found a bunch of tiny, slimy, synthetic looking orange balls inside - kind of like tobiko. Definitely not charcoal filters and probably not safe for human consumption or your Breville machine. Crucial agreed, refunded me immediately, and said they would follow up with the manufacturer.

These filters are filled with some sort of orange-colored synthetic looking balls, as another reviewer pointed out. Mine weren't "slimy" as the other reviewer states, but these filters are definitely filled with a different product then any other "charcoal" filter I've ordered. I didn't even try them in my espresso machine, didn't want to risk it.
