The filter is about a 1/4 inch shorter than the original filter or OEM filter. When I flushed it before starting to use it, I had to flush a lot more water through it in order for the water to run clear, as compared to OEM filters. A few days after putting the first filter in service I noticed dark sediment in the bottom of my glass which looked just like the dark charcoal powder you flush out when putting a new filter in service. It only happened the one time but makes you wonder. The price is about 1/3 the cost per filter, but if you get sediment what is the point. Time will tell.

Not OEM but Not Bad Filters work just fine. Plastic fitting and "O" rings not as robust as OEM but so far it works fine and no leaks. Also, the price much lower than OEM. I'd buy again.
