Maytag deum roller
My Maytag gas dryer was making so much scraping noise and I found out that the problem was the drum roller. I just got on the web with Amazon and put the serial number of my unit and found the correct parts which showed that availability was sure. The rollers arrive and I installed it and the unit ran like new again. The parts came came in a pair but I replaced just the bad one and kept one for spare.

Trouble getting screws into the Support spindle bracket
I ordered the Roller Kit for my old Whirlpool Dryer. Luna sent the kit right away. However, when I went to install it, I found that the screws they sent did not fit in the spindle/bracket (they called it "Support Assy"-- small brackets that hold the rollers that allow the dryer to turn). I called Whirlpool first, but they wouldn't help me, and sent me to Luna (I had hoped that because the parts were in sealed bags labelled "Whirlpool Corporation Factory Certified Parts" that Whirlpool would help). Then I called Luna, and got a recorded message saying that the mailbox for their phone number was full and I could try to call back later.

Frustrated, I went online and found a hint in a Youtube video that you can pre-strip the holes on the Support Assy so that when you're screwing in the screws, you have enough torque to get the screws in the (too-tight) holes. I tried that and it worked. So I think the part that Luna sent was OK. But the fact that they weren't reachable...
