I have been buying BestAir products for a while now. They have a good quality product. However, this wick filter actually 2 small square patches. And I am not sure it is really worth more than Ten Dollars. I think the markup on this is really high, and they can sell this for half the price. Considering the fact that I change filters every month, this is quite expensive in the long wrong. If you work out the math, you'll see that you'd be shelling out close to hundred and fifty dollars a year on the filter for this brand of humidifier. worth it? I am not sure. However, I like the BestAir filter.

Not the same as the filters that came with new humidifier We have well water with 2 filters for rust/iron and for hardness. I realize this factors in to the lifespan of the filter, the salt build up is pretty obvious. Regardless, we used the original filters from Oct-Jan before they were ready to pitch, and the replacement has been in less than a month and already the build up is concerning. There have been no changes to our water and the humidifier has been cleaned several times. The original filters also seemed to help with the noise, because now we've noticed that it sounds much louder. I can't speak too poorly of them, because I don't think I have any other options, I'm just disappointed that they're a lesser quality than the originals!
