The version in my dishwasher actually had 2 screens, an outer micro-screen like the only screen on this product, and an inner screen with far larger openings. Nonetheless, this filter fits and works perfectly. Well packed and arrived in a couple of days with the Prime account. My old filter micro-screen was coated with water deposits that I couldn't seem to clear. The dishwasher, after working for a couple of years since purchase started leaving a noticeable white film on black plastic items like non-stick utensils. First changed detergent, then finally thoroughly cleaned/cleared filters which seemed to help more. I switched from rinse-aid products to vinegar long ago, thinking that the acetic acid would not only provide the rinse "aide", but also help reduce/eliminate the the lime buildup I was noticing.

First, the good news: This is an excellent, high quality replacement for the inner filter for Bosch dishwashers (mine's an SHE58C05UC/40). The only difference between the original manufacturer's part and this one is some missing blue paint on the lineup arrows (inconsequential) and the mesh on the filter is much finer than my original part (which is actually a GOOD thing, when you read further). The disappointment was my failure to read the description thoroughly. This is ONLY the inner filter (exactly as shown in the picture). This doesn't include the second cylindrical filter that prefilters water (which is the part on my washer that was broken & that I actually needed to replace). However, thanks to the fine mesh on this filter, the outer filter basket is now unnecessary. This filter works GREAT & our dishes are clean and sparkling. So, I'm happy. I paid less than half price, have one less filter to clean & have cleaner dishes than I had...
