It looked very similar, and almost fit, but there's a piece on the front that keeps it from going in all the way. Turns out that that filter only works in Icon model fridges, and the filters are not interchangeable. I returned the other filter, ordered this one, and have had no problem with it. I notice that this item's page now explicitly says that it does not work with the Icon model, which is helpful. I can't help but wonder if some of the problems people have had have to do with this avoidable confusion--the other filter's page barely mentions the word "Icon", and doesn't say that it won't work in other PureAdvantage systems.

My original one was clear and you could see the water and filter stuff inside. This is covered in white plastic and had me worried at first but I have not had any issues. I have run several gallons through it.
