This is the second time I replaced the filter since we purchased the Kitchen Aid bottom freezer refrigerator. The first time I ordered directly from Kitchen Aid/Whirlpool and paid 59.99. This time I ordered from Amazon. It arrived in 6 days and to my pleasant surprise is made by PUR as is the Kitchen Aid filter. Only this time it was 1/2 the price. The old one was a bit difficult to turn and remove but the new one went in easily. It works perfectly as we can taste the difference in the cold water. Am very pleased that Amazon carries the product and the price is great.
