When I first installed the filter I noticed that the water flow from the fridge was far more than it has ever been in the past which was nice to see because I have always been frustrated with how slowly the water came out of the dispenser. This had me worried at first as I thought to myself "if the water is coming out faster the filtration must not be working as well" without any filtration my water is not the worst I have tasted but it is far from great and I am happy to say that with this aftermarket filter it is as good, clean, and crisp as it was with the expensive filter.
