The DuPont QuickTwist Universal Refrigerator Filtration System features a 1-stage system that requires minimal cabinet space. It is easy to install using (2) 1/4-inch quick connect hoses directly behind the fridge or hidden in a cabinet near the fridge. QuickTwist cartridges are an easy to change system with auto shut off that ensure easy, no-spill cartridge replacement. The built in shut off valve allows you to replace filters without turning off the cold water line. Simply twist off and twist on when replacing the filter cartridges. The system includes a 3000 QT series carbon block filter that has a 2,000 gallon filter life. Parts were wrong I love the product, but had a bit of a job installing it because of having a sheetrocked and textured garage ceiling, which made finding rafters more of a challenge. There was one problem with the parts supplied that also slowed up the installation process. Two of the lag screws supplied for the metal hanger were regular size and one was metric, causing me to have to make an extra trip to the toolbox for metric sockets and wrenches. Somebody goofed up. Once installed it works great!

Not just the filter but the filter cover as well. I really only wanted the filter but instead got the filter receptical as well. Weird. Seems that it could be cheaper without the whole kit. Hard to find part number for just the filter. Even with part in hand and on their website. Really poorly supported product from a replacement standpoint. DuPont you can do better.
