Water filters are such a rip off, it was nice to find this guy on the market as a direct replacement for the OEM Samsung unit -- And for almost HALF the price, I was willing to take a chance. So, comparing side by side, these are not just relabeled Samsung filters. The case is clearly different, and there are less manufacture markings on the plastic. The good: - No Chlorine Taste/Smell. - Water is Clear. (No sediment at the bottom of a glass after it has sat for 24 hours). - Installs perfectly. The Odd: - Yes. Water pressure in increased. If you have an old/worn water dispenser this may not work out in your favor, and the increased pressure may cause vales to leak, or take longer to close. - More water pressure makes me think there is less filter material/carbon inside the filter.
