I drink regular coffee and my wife drinks decaf, so this has worked out very well for us: 1. Unlike other coffee machines we have owned, the water level in the machine is VERY easy to read. 2. The carafes pour very easily with no dripping. 3. The water is a bit difficult to pour in the back of the machine, but not an issue once you get used to i. 4. If the filter cone is not locked in place, the coffee WILL spill out as it brews, so be aware. 5. Some reviewers have written that the coffee is not hot enough. I have not found this to be the case. The only real negative is that our counter under the machine gets very hot, so we will just be using a trivet underneath. Otherwise, I can strongly recommend!
