It fixed what should not have failed on a 5 year old washer---Whirlpool sucks for using crap made in China--- I have a Kenmore washer that is 24 years old, never had ONE problem with it. This should have been a recall with the amount of control boards that failed, and Whirlpool will not stand behind there products...
