Mostly okay The circumference of this is a tad smaller than my pint-sized chemex, so it doesn't sit perfectly flat on it, but not a huge issue. It is definitely smaller than the FP-2 paper filters, so the appropriate amount of coffee basically fills it up, so the amount of water you pour in is less at a time. Also, you'll want to use a coarser grind of coffee, as I have found that this filter lets a LOT of sediment through. Again, not a show stopper, I just dont drink the last swallow of coffee, but would be nice not to have to deal with that.
