We called Frigidaire, although our refrigerator is neither of the ones described, and were assured that the filter shown would fit almost any Frigidaire refrigerator. We ordered from Amazon and it did indeed fit although our unit was not of the type or model number listed!

BEWARE. PART MAY NOT BE CORRECT! Warning. I have bought this filter before - perhaps 7-8 months ago. I went to my previous order and clicked on the item so that I could order another. The first water filter worked beautifully and fit well. This filter may have come from a different supplier/shipper. It came from Caribbean Appliance, Puerto Rico. Well, it arrived in a few days and we took out the old and slid in the new - should be as simple as that. The new one did not go in. Upon examination of the two cylinders we see that the old one has a "tab" on the slot where it inserts into the end of the filter to allow it to "stick" and then you have to slightly push it to release it when time to change filter. This new filter does not have the tab and so - it won't stay "stick" in the filter recess. Bottom line. It just doesn't work. The numbers are the exact same part number but this newest one is missing it's tab. It was manufactured w/o the tab as it has not been broken off. It was...
