I give this one star for Amazon very bad information and implying this fits the threaded 38447 instead ... The model here is all that is carried on Amazon. So if you have a threaded connection you are out of luck! Go to on of the big box hardware stores instead. I found two non-Sears filters that work with threaded connection and last 5 years. Although someone did finally give the correct information via a question, I give this one star for Amazon very bad information and implying this fits the threaded 38447 instead of up front correct product description.
