The problem is that I was already planning on needing 1" reducers for a 1.5" opening, and thus two threaded inserts on each side makes for more potential leak points. It works great. It replaced a 20GPM spin down that was restricting the sprinklers from getting enough water and losing pressure. I ended up having to solvent weld the connections to keep from leaking at the connections. This is likely due to the inability to get the pvc with kevlar connections tight enough with two reducers on each side. However, it did the trick. Other than the listing being a little mislabeled, this is a good product and will keep your sprinklers debris-free.
