I have had my keurig 2.0 for a little over two years now and well if you know how it is to have a keurig you have to change the filter every 2 months. Well these can be expensive little things if you got to a store and get them and sometimes you only get a few not a whole years worth. So being able to get a whole year was important to me so I did not have to worry about having to getting more filters right away . The directions on these filters are soak 1 mini shield charcoal cartridge in water for 5 mins, then rinse the cartridge for 60 seconds and insert on your brewer charcoal handle and your good to go . The box does say it can be used with all keurig compatible water filter handles. So overall I am very happy with these and they meet my expectations for my keurig everyday use!
