I bought two of these units at the same time, and both of them had their pumps quit within 30 days of each other, one was within Hisense's warranty period, the other was a few days past. Hisense warrantied the first unit that went, and much to my surprise customer service offered me a REFUND instead of a replacement, I was surprised but happy as this meant I could simply buy another unit without having to wait for the turn around time from Hisense. They instructed me to cut my power cord off the unit and mail it to them along with my invoice and other information. I waited about a month and did not receive a cheque, so I called into customer service and they informed me that I would be receiving a replacement unit and not a cheque as they had originally offered. Hisense not cooperative. Pump worked for about a month and now the unit shuts off when the bucket is full. The pump is supposed to stop the hassle of emptying the bucket. Hisense told me to contact Amazon to return the unit but Amazon won't accept a return. Hisense will now not return my queries.
